Hey friends! I’m super excited about this post because I’m all about finding cute clothes for less! Just a heads up, this is not sponsored by shein.com. I actually spent $100 of my own money in order to see what it really is all about. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with everything I bought. The clothing does come incredibly wrinkled from packaging, so I spent so much time ironing it out, which really isn’t a big deal unless you absolutely hate ironing like I do! My first recommendation is to always read the reviews. Your best bet on websites like this is to SEE the item. Most people will post pictures in the reviews and thank the heavens above for them. Most of the things I bought were rompers and two pieces because I did expect the quality to be low and I usually don’t wear those pieces as many times as I would wear jeans or shirts. It’s more important to splurge on pieces like jeans and such because of how many times you wear them. All the pieces are linked below:
This romper was the first thing I added to my cart. The material is thin, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially in Louisiana’s 100 degree weather. It was just a tad bit baggy on me, but the middle is elastic so it did fit. My personal preference is just a tighter fit because my legs are very tiny. Shein actually doesn’t have this red color anymore, but they do have this romper in other colors. The coolest thing about this romper is that the straps are like rope, but not a painful rope that would hurt to wear!
Size: Extra Small
This little number is SO precious. The material is also pretty thin, but it did fit really well. The only complaint I have about this piece is that the straps are TOO long. I really did like the outfit though, especially the ruffles on the straps, so I modified them by tying them together. The material is the kind that wrinkles easily, though, so it was kind of a pain. I really wish the straps wouldn’t have been too long, but I’m glad I was easily able to adjust the issue. I wouldn’t pay $16 for it unless you can be creative with the straps as well!
This two piece really did have the potential to be SUPER cute. I had no idea how to even wear this when I first got it because it comes with a separate belt, which is what you use to tie the front. The bottoms fit me really well, but the top was more like an XL instead of a small. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend it is because the top is way too big, but even though it was big, it still managed to be cute. I can’t even be mad because it was only $12.
This was hands down my favorite item that I received. The material is a thicker, heavier quality than all the other pieces. I couldn’t believe that I only had to pay $11 for it. It is SO adorable and fits so well! I can’t recommend it enough. I’m still obsessing!!
The material on this romper is really thin, but HOW CUTE is this?! This print is to die for and that knot on the front, LOVE! This was another purchase that I was impressed by considering the price. I assumed that it was going to be incredibly see through, but I didn’t have any issues wearing nude under garments!
Shirt Size: Extra Small

Short Size: Extra Small
Short Price: $10
This shirt is so thin that I was worried that it was going to be unwearable. I was so surprised when I put it on that it wasn’t as see through as it looked. The shorts material is completely opposite. They are very thick. The downside is that the lining doesn’t match up on them so it is kind of strange. I could’ve went up a size, but they do fit me because the band is elastic. They do come in four different colors though, and I assume all the colors have the same issue with the lines not lining up.
Size: Extra Small
Last but not least is this wrap dress. I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out how to put it on, but eventually I got it. My first impression was that I hated it, but it’s grown on me. The top area was big, but the tie at the waist helped so much. The material is nice as well. It is something I can totally wear at one of the 100 weddings I have coming up!
Overall, with an open mind, I recommend buying CERTAIN items from websites like these. When I say open mind, I just mean to realize that you’re paying for what you receive. The quality is not going to be as incredible as an item you would spend $50 on, but it is wearable. If you are “iffy” about purchasing an item, unless you are okay with it being a hit or miss, I would skip on until you find something else, and again, READ THE REVIEWS.

If you are from Lafayette, you can find the EXACT earrings I wore at 7 Chics Boutique in River Ranch. Clicking the picture below will bring you to the closest pair I could find online.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I really hope this helps y’all understand a little better about websites such as these!!
